Old Thames barges have been sunk in an estuary to reduce erosion and create a new "island" habitat for birds, in a project the National Trust believes to be the first of its kind in the UK.

The primary signal is desiredSize on the controller. It can be positive (wants data), zero (at capacity), negative (over capacity), or null (closed). Producers are supposed to check this value and stop enqueueing when it's not positive.
